Mr. Yu Shihai, was born in February 1976 in Rudong, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. He is an associate professor specialized in research in national traditions. He is currently the deputy dean of School of Sports Sciences and Physical Education and a teacher of martial arts in NantongUniversity, as well as the chairman of Yangzhou Tianjinlong Taijiquan Research Society and chairman of Nantong University Taijiquan Club.

In 1998, 1999 and 2000, Mr. Yu Shihai won the 75kg Tai Chi Pusher Championship in the “National Taijiquan Championships”, and won the 80kg Tai Chi Pusher Championship in 2001 Zhuhai International Taijiquan Invitational Championship. From 2008 to 2019, he was invited to serve as the head coach of NantongUniversity’s team of martial arts. During this period, he led students to participate in all kinds of National Championships of martial arts, obtained first, second and third prizes  for many times.
