Bowu Club is one of the first groups of students' cultural association established in NantongUniversity, which integrates traditional martial arts and modern fighting. From 2004 to 2019, the association has always been aiming at “physical fitness, civilized spirit, promoting national essence, and inclusiveness” to stimulate students’passion and potentiality for martial arts. Secretary-general Xi Jinping said that sports carry the dream of national prosperity and national rejuvenation. If sports are strong, China will be strong; If China is prosperous, sports will be prosperous. As a result, no matter the performance in school or foreign cooperation and exchange, the association always adheres to the spirit of “inheriting the essence of martial arts, developing traditional methods”, so as to improve the physical quality of contemporary college students, and cultivate their martial arts spirit of constantly surpassing themselves and improving excellence.
