Recently, a research team led by Professor Shi Wei and Professor Gong Peipei from the Affiliated Hospital, in collaboration with multiple domestic and international institutions, has made significant progress in elucidating the impact of aging-related microglial heterogeneity on the prognosis of traumatic brain injury (TBI). The findings have been published online in The Journal of Clinical Investigation (IF: 15.9 | Q1 TOP), a leading international journal in translational medicine, under the title "Aging-dependent microglial heterogeneity worsens outcomes in models of traumatic brain injury."
