A research team led by Associate Professor Sun Wenxu from the School of Physical Science and Technology has made significant progress in the design of hydrogel-based flexible sensing materials. Their work, titled “Bioinspired Interfacial Engineering of Dual-Nanocomposite Hydrogel for High-Performance Strain Sensing with Exceptional Stretchability and Toughness,” has been published in the journal Advanced Functional Materials .

The paper’s first author is master’s student Zhou Lepeng. The corresponding authors are Associate Professor Sun Wenxu, Associate Professor Zhang Lei (both from Nantong University), and Associate Professor Xue Bin from Nanjing University. Nantong University is the primary affiliation and the corresponding institution for this study.
