Recently, the Nature Index website released its 2025 annual rankings (covering the period from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025). Nantong University recorded a Count of 241 and a Share of 114.66, ranking 73rd among domestic universities in Mainland China and 179th globally. Compared with the 2024 rankings, the Count increased by 73, the Share rose by 36.78, the university advanced 10 places in the domestic ranking, and climbed 61 places in the global ranking—marking the highest global position in the university's history.
