2026-04-01

Recently, Professor Liu Xingjun from the School of Pharmacy, Professor Pan Haili from the Institute of Special Medicine, and Professor Xu Yunzhao from the Affiliated Hospital jointly published a comprehensive review paper in the international journal Pharmacology and Therapeutics (IF: 12.0 | Q1 TOP), titled “The Role of MyD88 in the Nervous System: Neuronal Functions, Implications in Neurological Diseases, and Therapeutic Potential.”

The article systematically elaborates on recent research progress regarding the MyD88 protein in immune signaling pathways and the central nervous system (CNS). It highlights the protein’s functions and potential therapeutic roles in various CNS disorders, including Alzheimer's disease (AD), Parkinson's disease (PD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), stroke, and traumatic brain injury, as well as its involvement in chronic pain.
