The Siena College of Future Biotechnology at Nantong University is a non-independent legal entity Sino-foreign cooperative education institution jointly established by Nantong University and the University of Siena (Italy), offering undergraduate-level higher education programs. It is the only Sino-foreign cooperative education institution of the University of Siena in China and operates as a directly affiliated secondary college under Nantong University. The college offers three undergraduate programs: Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Biotechnology, and Automation.

Guided by the university’s internationalization strategy and leveraging the high-quality educational resources of both Nantong University and the University of Siena, the college is committed to the philosophy of “future-oriented, interdisciplinary, innovation-driven, and globally competent.” It aims to cultivate innovative, interdisciplinary, and international talents equipped with backgrounds in biomedicine, control science, mathematics, and statistics for fields such as life and health, intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and big data.
