A groundbreaking study titled "High-performance tandem perovskite LEDs through interlayer photon recycling" has been published in the world-renowned journal Nature, with University President Professor Wang Jianpu serving as the corresponding author.

The research, collaboratively conducted by Professor Wang Jianpu, Professor Huang Wei (Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), and Professor Wang Nana from Nanjing Tech University, reports a novel tandem perovskite LED structure based on interlayer photon recycling. By ingeniously designing a connecting layer, the device successfully integrates two perovskite light-emitting units into a highly efficient synergistic system.
