On May 8, Clarivate, an international third-party evaluation agency, released the latest Essential Science Indicators (ESI) data for May 2025. Two disciplines at our university—Immunology and Plant & Animal Science—have entered the ESI global top 1% rankings. This marks a new milestone in our university’s discipline development following the recent inclusion of Environmental Science/Ecology in the top 1% earlier this year. With these additions, the total number of our university’s ESI top 1% disciplines has now reached 12.
