Recently, Clarivate, an international third-party evaluation organization, released the March 2025 edition of the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) data. For the first time, the discipline of Environment/Ecology at our university has entered the ESI global top 1%, bringing the university's total number of ESI top 1% disciplines to 10.

According to the data, the Environment/Ecology discipline currently has 492 ESI-indexed papers, with a cumulative citation count of 5,169, an average of 10.51 citations per paper, and 3 highly cited papers.
