Vision & Mission
Guided by the socialist educational principles and the legacy of Zhang Jian’s pedagogical philosophy, the school dedicates itself to moral cultivation and high-quality development. Embracing the motto “Cultivating Empathy, Pursuing Virtue and Scholarship”, it fosters the nationally renowned “Nantong Education Phenomenon” through deep-rooted collaboration with local communities.

Social Impact

  • Teacher Training:

    • Leads National Teacher Training Program (NTTP) projects for Hainan, Qinghai, Chongqing, Ningxia, and Shanxi provinces.

    • Designs regional education plans, including the “13th Five-Year” Education Blueprint for Tongzhou District and Rudong County Preschool Education Layout.

  • Alumni Leadership:

    • 67% of Nantong’s primary/secondary school principals and 62% of municipal special-grade teachers are graduates of the school.


Global Collaboration

  • Partnerships:

    • Academic exchanges with Concordia University (USA), Jackson State University (USA), and Singapore University of Social Sciences.

    • Jointly operates the Hong Kong-Nantong Early Childhood Education Research Center with Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (Hong Kong).
