Historical Legacy
Tracing its origins to the Private Nantong Medical College established in March 1912 by industrial pioneer Zhang Jian and his brother, the School of Medicine embodies over a century of excellence in medical education and research. It evolved into Nantong Medical College before integrating into Nantong University, continuing its mission to advance healthcare innovation.
