School of Public Health
The School of Public Health traces its origins to the Hygiene and Health Organization Teaching & Research Group established at Northern Jiangsu Medical College in 1955. Following institutional developments, the Department of Hygiene was formally founded at Nantong Medical College in August 1986. In May 2004, after the merger and reorganization of Nantong University, the school was officially renamed the School of Public Health, Nantong University.
Over the past seven decades, the school has upheld its educational philosophy of cultivating virtue, serving as stepping stones for student success, and advancing knowledge through pragmatic dedication.
