Recently, the research team of Professor Xiaolin Mi of the School of Medicine of our university published a research paper entitled "Long noncoding RNA DREAMer bridges the DREAM complex and E2f1 to regulate endoreplication in Drosophila" in Science Advances. This study revealed a novel mechanism by which the long non-coding RNA DREAMer mediates transcriptional repression of the E2f1 gene by the DREAM complex, regulating intracellular replication, cell size, and tissue development.
