Recently, after examining the candidates' academic achievements and influence, academic contributions in related fields, as well as several rounds of rigorous academic evaluation and selection procedures, Professor Shi Weidong was elected as a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Engineering at the Congress of Academicians of the Russian Academy of Engineering.
