The results of the 13th Liang Xi Science and Technology Awards have been announced. The research on Innovation and Application of Key Technologies for Early Identification of Willow Stress Resistance presided over by Professor Zhang Jian from the School of Life Sciences won second prize. This is the first time that    Nantong University has won the award as the first employer.

Liang Xi Science and Technology Awards facing nationwide participants is a preeminent Chinese sci-tech award in forestry, which is approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China and issued by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration as well as the Chinese Society of Forestry. This award mainly rewards teams and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the sci-tech progress of forestry and grassland.
