International Collaborative Research Results of Professor Li Shiying and Upenn Published in Nature

The research paper entitled Molecular landscapes of human hippocampal immature neuron across lifespan by Professor Li Shiying from Key Laboratory of Nerve Regeneration was recently published in Nature (IF=69.502), in collaboration with the team led by academician Hongjun Song and academician Guoli Ming from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. Thereinto, Professor Li is one of the co-first authors and Nantong University is the second employer.

The research provides a thinking path and development direction for future regenerative medicine based on central nervous system, and paves the way for in-depth researches on adult neurogenesis and its effects on memory, emotion, behaviors, and brain diseases. In addition, it helps study on the causes of brain diseases like Alzheimer and some mental diseases for further treatment.
