Nantong University ranks 94^th among all universities in Chinese Mainland and 526^th in the world, according to the World University Rankings 2022 newly issued by Scimago, an American free platform for journal information analysis.

The main indicators of this newly released rankings of world universities are based on research performance (50%), innovation outputs (30%) and social impact (20%), including high quality publications and their excellence, international collaboration, patents, innovative knowledge, etc., among which, NTU ranks 101st in research performance, 74th in innovation outputs and 57th in social impact.
