Four majors including Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering, Materials for New Energy and Device, Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Medical Engineering have been approved to be filed, according to Notice on the 2020 Filing and Approval Results of Undergraduate Majors in Colleges and Universities (JGH [2021]No.1) issued by the Ministry of Education recently.

It is of great significance to accelerate the talent cultivation urgently needed for regional economic development and to implement the Plan of Health China 2030 of the State Council, and the construction of new engineering disciplines required by the Ministry of Education as well. In accordance with national standards for teaching quality of undergraduate majors, NTU will continuously improve the ability to well boost the social and economic development by cultivating the connotation of the new majors to ensure the quality of education.
