The evaluation results of the second batch of project applications for the year of 2020 were released on September 27 by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). A total of 100 projects from NTU were granted a direct funding of RMB 41.54 million. It is the first time that the number of approved projects from NTU has reached 100, making a leap-forward breakthrough. The granted projects included 1 key project, 42 general projects, 54 Youth Science Fund Projects, 1 International Youth Science Fund Project and 2 other special fund projects. So far, the number of projects this year has increased by 29.87% over last year, with the fund increase of 26.5%.
