On August 21, the ChineseAcademy of Medical Sciences released 2019 Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics(STEM) for China hospitals. Our affiliated hospital was on the top 100 list by its rank of provincial 6^th place and national 96^th place (comprehensive ranking),and its 18 departments rose to the top 100 list.

Of the 31 departments in the affiliated  hospital, the following departments were on Top 5 list of the provincial hospitals: empyrosis surgery (first place in the province,14th in the nation), nursing (2nd in the province, 15^th in the nation), Orthopedic surgery (4th in the province,38th in the nation), Ophthalmology (3rd in the province,43rd in the nation), Otorhinolaryngology (3rd in the province，54th in the nation). Compared to what was in 2018, in terms of the number of departments, our affiliated hospital has three departments added to the list; in terms of ranking, for the first time, two departments were on the TOP 20 list;as to ranking rise, nursing rose by 44, dermatology rose 38, empyrosis surgery by 37, endocrinology and metabolomics rose by 31, oncology rose by 27. In addition, Stomatology, being shortlisted first in 2015, was shortlisted again after three years, ranking to 62nd, 23 places higher than in 2015.
