August 18-21, the 15th China Graduate Electronic Design Competition finals were held in Nanjing. After the intense competition, the competitors of our university won 2 national first prizes of technical competition,1 third prize,1 national first prize and 1 third prize of business plan competition, and 2 second prizes of enterprise special awards, among which，our university was for the first time awarded the business plan top prize，making the historical record both for the prize grade and quantity， and the total achievements ranked as high as the second place in the east China zone.  Shi Quan，from School of Transportation and Civil Engineering, and Zhong Yongyan，from School of Electrical Engineering were awarded as “Excellent Instructor”, and our university won the “Excellent Organization Award”.

The competition was directed by the Research Center of Degree and Graduate Education of the Ministry of Education, sponsored by the China Institute of Degree and Graduate Education, the Youth Science and TechnologyCenter of the China Association of Science and Technology, and the China Electronic Society. The total number of 3818 teams nationwide participating in the competitions, with more than 20,000 participants, reaching a record high in both number of participants and competition scale. The competition kicked off in April, and after more than four months, in early August the eight divisional preliminary competitions came to an end. A total of 402 teams from 109 colleges and universities participated in the finals of the competitions.
