Recently, President Shi Weidong of Nantong University and President Noji, Sumihare of Tokushima University ，Japan  renewed the Agreement on Academic Exchange between Nantong University and University of Tokushimaon behalf of their respective university. The two universities will continue to cooperate in development of joint research projects, scientific research resource sharing, teachers and students’ exchange and other areas of common interest.

Zhu Li, director of Graduate Affairs Department, and Masaki Hashizume, director of Advanced Science and Technology Education Department of Tokushima University of, renewed the Memorandum on the Dual-Degree Program between the Graduate School of Nantong University and the Advanced  Science and Technology Education Department of the Graduate School of the University of Tokushima. According to the memorandum, both parties will continue the master-doctor degree programs in engineering disciplines.

Since our university and the TokushimaUniversity initiated friendly exchanges in 1987, teachers of the universities have academic exchanges in a frequent manner, and the leaders of both universities have exchanged their visits, and signed the memorandum of master-doctor degree program for the first time in 2015. and the program is going very well up to date. Totally，33 master degree candidates and 2 doctor degree candidates have been assigned to Tokushima University ，Japan for  further study.
