Mr. Chen Yihan is a Cardiologist and Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was born in Sheyang, Jiangsu Province in October 1964. He graduated from Nantong Medical College in 1987 with a Bachelor’s Degree, and a Master’s Degree in 1992 of the same college; in 1996, he received a Doctorate Degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (formerly Shanghai Second Medical University). He is the Vice President of Tongji University, Director of the Medical and Life Sciences Department of Tongji University and of the Cardiology Department of Oriental Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University. In 2015, he was elected academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
