Xiao Yuanqi was born in 1956 in Rudong, Jiangsu Province. He entered the former NantongNormalCollege majoring Chinese in 1978, and is currently the general adviser and general education supervisor of Huaxia Xingfu Education.

He was a teacher and dean at Chahe Middle School and Matang Middle School, director of Education Department of Rudong County Education Bureau, assistant to president of Rudong High School, member of Party Committee and deputy director of County Education Bureau, assistant to president of Affiliated Middle School to of Renmin University of China, vice president of Yanqing Branch, chairman of New Century China Education and Scientific Research Forum, and vice chairman of the National Famous High School Scientific Research Association.

He has published nearly ten monographs, participated in national research projects, and led and completed provincial subject research projects.
