Que Weidong was born in 1968 in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. He entered the former Nantong Institute of Textile Technology College in 1986, majoring in weaving. He is now the chairman and general manager of Quecheng Silica Chemical Co. Ltd.

He was the deputy general manager and general manager of Wuxi Hengheng White Carbon Co. Ltd. He was granted the title of “Wuxi City 10 Excellent Youth Individuals”.
