On December 22, 2018, the 2018 Governance and Ideological and Theoretical Communication Summit Forum of China Think Tanks, co-sponsored by NanjingUniversity and Guangming Daily, was held in Nanjing. The List of 2018 CTTI Source Top 100 University Think Tanks was released at the meeting. The Jiangsu Yangtze River Economic Belt Research Institute of Nantong University stood out from 441 university think tanks in China and ranked 79^th, which is another honor for the institute after it was rated as one of the Top 10 Think Tanks Practice Cases in 2018.
