On the morning of April 17, 2018, Zhou Jianzhong Famous Teachers Studio, the first Famous Teachers Studio in NantongUniversity, was unveiled. Wang Zhan, the former vice minister of the Ministry of Education and the member of the National Education Advisory Committee, and Pu Yuzhong, the party secretary of NTU, jointly unveiled the studio. President Shi Weidong spoke on behalf of the university. Professor Zhou Jianzhong, a famous teacher of national Ten Thousand People Plan, addressed the audience at the unveiling ceremony.

The establishment of a Famous Teachers Studio is an important measure to implement the reform of talent training in our university, which aims at innovating the training methods of young talents, encouraging the leading roles of famous teachers, guiding and helping young teachers on their career planning, moral cultivation, teaching and scientific research ability, and their faster and better overall growth. With the goal of Uniting a Group of Teachers, Influencing a Group of Teachers, and Developing a Group of Teachers, the Studio of Famous Teachers will emphasize on Demonstration, Guidance, Innovation, and Sharing, and contribute to the cultivation of a cadre of teachers with new educational concepts, strong innovation consciousness, noble teachers' ethics and an excellent business sense. Ten young teachers from the Schools of Liberal Arts, Business, Educational Sciences, Sports Science and Arts are the first group of researchers to enter the studio to conduct a three-year study.
