In November 2019, the winners of the 2019 National Mathematical Contest in Modeling for College Students were announced. Our University won 1 first prize and 1 second prize.

The national mathematical contest in modeling for college students was founded in 1992 and held once a year. In 1994, it was listed as one of the four major competitions for college students by the ministry of education. Now, it has become one of the most large-scale and influential basic discipline competitions in China. The competition has attracted nearly 130,000 entries from 1490 colleges/campuses, 42,992 teams (39,293 undergraduate teams, 3699 junior teams) from all over the country, the United   States and Malaysia.The proportion of national first prize winners is 0.75%, and the proportion of national second prize winners is 3.05%.
