The First Prize Won at National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest

Recently, the 2019 National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest ended in Shanghai, of which 27 student teams from our university participating in the event. After the evaluation by the expert group of the organizing committee, the student team composed of Hao Yajing, Xiao Tianting and Zhao Rengang from School of Information Science and Technology (the instructor: Yang Yongjie and Guan Yeqing) won the national first prize. In addition, our team also won 4 first prizes and 5 second prizes in Jiangsu Division.


The National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest is one of the undergraduate subject competitions advocated by the Ministry of Education, which is organized biennially by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and the Department of Personnel Education of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is one of the most influential and large-scale professional academic competition in the country. Awarding process of the contest adopts the way of “university-based, one-time competition, two-level award evaluation”. Through the preliminary evaluation, comprehensive evaluation of the expert group of the provincial contest organizing committee and reexamination of the national contest organizing committee, the national award will be finally determined. This year, a total of 17,361 teams from 1,101 universities joined the contest, and 296 national first prizes and 847 second prizes were selected. Among them, 1,167 teams participated in the contest of Jiangsu Division with 174 first prizes and 358 second prizes selected.
