On September 4, the 2019 Premier Forum was held in Singapore University of Social Sciences. Professor Xu Yingjian attended the forum at invitation as Chinese visiting scholar, and talked with the Singapore premier Li Xianlong during communication process.

The predecessor of Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) can date back to 1964 and formally determined its name as Singapore University of Social Sciences in 2017. It is on the list of legal 6 public universities under the Higher Education Committee of the Ministry of Education of Singapore and famed as the pioneer among Singapore higher education universities in creating application-oriented education and lifelong education. The theme of the Premier Forum was the task of Singapore education, based on which discusses are made. There were two processes in the forum including the main dialogue between teachers and students, and free activities and communications. During the later process, Professor, Xu, Yingjian introduced the general situation and his impression during the visit to Premier Li Xianlong, and discussed the way and method for the cooperation between universities of Singapore and universities of China.

Subsequent news  In the morning on September 2, Professor Xu Yingjian of the EducationScientific  College gave an academic speech in the university at the invitation of Singapore University of Social Sciences with the topic of Chinese Moocs: Action, Experience and Prospect.

Professor Xu Yingjian introduced the Chinese experience and Chinese scheme for creating a new realm of the future development of MOOC with integration of modern technologies including internet of things, big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and virtual reality combined with the Chinese MOOC Declaration and the establishment process for his self-hosted national excellent online courses named Teachers' Professional Ethics and Education Policies and Regulations.
