Mao Linfeng was born in 1963 in Nantong, Jiangsu Province. In 1980, he entered the former NantongTextileCollege majoring in technology and equipment for mechanical manufacturing. He is currently the chairman and general manager of Wuxi Sifang Group Co., Ltd.

At the Wuxi City Bucket Factory, he started out as a technician, and eventually became the head of the production and technical department, deputy director, and director. Later he was also the chairman of Wuxi city Sifang Bucket Co. Ltd. and Wuxi City Sifang Vacuum Equipment Co. Ltd.

Mr. Mao was honored as Wuxi Municipal Labor Model, Outstanding Communist Party Member, Outstanding Young Entrepreneur, Outstanding Manager (Director), Outstanding Entrepreneur, Outstanding Entrepreneur Caring Staff, Charity Star, and Advanced Individual Respecting Teacher and Education etc.
